Crafting Custom Design Assets: Tailored to Your Brand

Building a Strong Brand Identity: Guidelines and Messaging

Establishing a unique and compelling brand identity is essential for building a strong brand. Many biotech companies sell similar antibodies, proteins, or ELISA kits, so what sets your
product apart for customers?

Discover our four-step process for creating comprehensive brand guidelines.

  1. Competitor Review

We evaluate your competiors to understand their strengths and weaknesses and determine how you want to position yourself in the market. Have they identified a specific market for their products or given particular focus to R&D? What ISO certifications do they possess, and how does their pricing compare? By addressing these questions upfront, we can ensure your brand effectively conveys its value proposition

  2. Customer Profiles

The next step involves developing customer profiles e.g. research scientists, IVD companies, potential OEM partnerships, or a distributor network. Each customer group has its own motivations and challenges. By thoroughly understanding these, you can tailor your brand and messaging to address their specific needs and offer solutions.

  3. Brand Assets

The exciting part! After figuring out your company’s position in the competitive landscape, we shift our focus internally. We dedicate time to defining your mission, core values, and brand pillars. Once your company’s unique selling points have been identified, we will begin focusing on its visual identity, including the logo, colour palette, communication style, and typography

  4. Messaging

Once you are satisfied with the brand identity, we complete the document by including examples of marketing messaging that align with your new brand. This transforms the document into a valuable reference guide and aids in communicating the new company brand to everyone, rather than it being a document that goes unused.

Your Brand Guide Will Include:

After making several calls to become familiar with your company, you will receive a PDF document after approximately 3 to 4 months. This document will contain:

  1. Competitor analysis
  2. Brand’s mission, vision, and unique selling points (USPs)
  3. Logo
  4. Colour scheme
  5. Typography and brand voice
  6. Image library (images will need to be purchased
    separately for licensing reasons)
  7. Customer profiles and information on how your
company will engage with these customers
  8. Examples of marketing messages
